The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO and leading the HR Officer, you will be BlueWave Living's most senior people professional. You will own the full people agenda: workforce strategy, employee and industrial relations, WHS and psychosocial risk, workers compensation oversight, remuneration, learning and development, culture, and aged care regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead workforce planning aligned to care minute obligations (Aged Care Act 2025), AN-ACC funding, and occupancy projections
* Serve as BlueWave Living's primary ER/IR authority managing investigations, disciplinary processes, union relationships (HSU, ANMF), enterprise bargaining, and Fair Work Commission matters
* Interpret and advise on the Aged Care Award, Enterprise Agreement, Fair Work Act 2009, and NES - including overtime entitlements and complex pay compliance
* Own WHS governance and lead the Psychosocial Risk Management Framework
* Maintain accountability for the SIRA-compliant RTW Program, including complex and high-cost claims management
* Design and maintain the L&D framework, capability matrix, and succession planning process
* Lead employee engagement strategy, culture programs, and WGEA reporting
* Ensure continuous compliance with Aged Care Act 2025 workforce obligations and ACQSC audit readiness
* Lead, supervise, and develop the HR Officer; manage the HR budget and external adviser relationships
About You
* Bachelor's degree/ post-graduate HR qualification preferred
* 5+ years progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a management role
* Demonstrated expertise in workplace investigations, EA interpretation, enterprise bargaining, and FWC proceedings
* Certificate IV in Workers Compensation or WHS equivalent; solid NSW WHS and SIRA knowledge
* Working knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2025, ACQSC Quality Standards, SIRS, and the aged care IR landscape (desirable)
* National Police Check/Current Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain)
