Job Summary:
This is a full-time permanent Registered Nurse position based in Darwin, offering an hourly rate of $42.30 - $44.43 per hour depending on skills and experience.
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to deliver person-centred nursing care to our consumers who reside in their own homes.
The successful candidate will travel to our consumers' residences to provide care, assist with medication administration, and offer clinical advice and support to less experienced personal care workers.
This role requires an autonomous and self-motivated individual who enjoys working with minimal supervision and interacting with clients and their families within their own residence.
The ideal candidate will have intermediate computer knowledge for record documentation and be comfortable travelling across the Greater Darwin region.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based best practice person-centred nursing care to consumers residing in their own homes.
* Travel to consumers' residences to provide care and assist with medication administration as required.
* Provide clinical advice and support to less experienced personal care workers.
* Maintain accurate records of consumer interactions and care provided using electronic systems.
Requirements
* Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Bachelor of Nursing.
* Current first aid and CPR certification.
* Full working rights for Australia.
* Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and aged care legislation.
* Prior experience working as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Home or Community Care setting.
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
