Job Title: Mental Health Clinician - Consumer Support
This role requires a dedicated clinician to provide person-centered treatments and clinical leadership for suicide prevention.
* Prioritize delivering evidence-based treatment to improve outcomes for consumers with clinically diagnosed mental disorders.
* Lead a multidisciplinary team in providing accessible care to meet diverse consumer needs, focusing on early intervention strategies and case management.
Your Role:
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for:
* Providing clinical supervision to clinicians supporting consumers at risk of suicide.
* Developing a comprehensive understanding of community mental health services, including statutory requirements and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary-level qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or Occupational Therapy).
* Minimum two years of experience in counselling, preferably with children and youth.
* Current full registration with a recognized professional body (AHPRA, AASW, PACFA, or ACA).
