About the role Carroll CHPP Consultancy is seeking experienced Chpp Operations and Maintenance Supervisors to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation and maintenance of established coal handling preparation plant (CHPP). What you'll be doing Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of the CHPP Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and operational procedures Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance plant performance Providing leadership and mentoring to the operations and maintenance teams Collaborating with other departments to optimise plant throughput and product quality Preparing and analysing key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement Maintaining accurate records and reporting on plant activities What we're looking for Significant experience in a supervisory role within a coal processing or mining environment Thorough understanding of CHPP operations, including coal processing, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams Commitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of driving a positive safety culture Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a mining or engineering discipline What we offer Our team of experienced industry professionals brings deep technical expertise and practical site-based knowledge, enabling us to provide innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable outcomes.
