Are you a passionate physiotherapist, looking to make a difference in the lives of the elderly within our community? We need Physio’s immediately to work in community based in Melbourne. Part-time and full-time applicants considered. Work with this market-leading aged care allied health company. Work in Melbourne with your participants and at the same time be connected with your colleagues and team leaders. Support and mentoring is offered where necessary and you are also free to work autonomously to see you’re designated clients. The overall goal is to provide a high quality community physiotherapy service. Clients range from home care packages to rehabilitation clients and your role may include:
1. Balance assessment and therapy
2. Exercise prescription
3. Mobility assessment and reablement
4. Joint replacement rehab
5. Neuro rehab
6. Pain management
7. Falls prevention, assessment and management
8. Cardiorespiratory rehabilitation

9. Provide high quality assessments and therapy to your caseload.
10. Manage own caseload and work within guidelines.
11. Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, team leaders, clients and their families.
12. Work autonomously as well as part of a team.
13. Travel between clients homes.
Skills and Experience:
14. Full AHPRA Registration.
15. Tertiary qualification/s in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Osteopathy.
16. Aged care experience highly regarded, not essential.
17. Valid drivers licence
18. National Police Check – aged and vulnerable specific.
19. Current Influenza vaccination.
20. New graduates encouraged to apply.
