About The Role
Join a AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. Play a key role in shaping our performance across our Tonkin business. Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our Tonkin Steel Centre in Townsville, you ensure orders are picked, loaded, and ready for dispatch. You'll be instrumental in keeping things running safely and efficiently.
Hours & Rate
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3.06pm. The rate on offer is $/hour.
Responsibilities
* Pick and pack customer orders
* Load and unload trucks
* Cut steel and operate machinery (overhead crane, forklift, processing machines)
* Provide excellent customer service
* Ensure all tasks are carried out safely
Qualifications
* A current high risk forklift licence is required.
* High regard for safety and a collaborative team mindset.
* Proactive with excellent customer service skills.
* Overhead crane experience and experience with steel are highly regarded.
