About the role
The Engineering & Maintenance Manager is a Full-Timeposition, based mainly at our Ingleburn factory (Glass wool products) and our Seven Hills (Ventilation products)site. Reporting to Operations Manageryou will manage all aspects of engineering, maintenance, continuous improvement, and capital projects for Interior Systems on our two sites.
In this role you will:
* Championing Safety and Well-being: Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
* Lead: Manage the Engineering and Maintenance team of Fitters, Electricians and Engineers (Project and Reliability Engineers).
* Capital Projects: Developing the capital Plan and construction for improvements for long term projects.
* Inspiring Growth and Efficiency: Leading the Maintenance team to ensure the effective operation of the site, maximising efficiency while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
* Empowering Collaboration: Provide Leadership in both daily and long-term operation of the business. Leading the team to drive improvement initiatives, training programmes, quantify benefits and track performance.
* Clear Vision and Direction: Providing technical leadership that guides the plant towards achieving strategic objectives.
* Innovating for Sustainability: Utilising Lean Manufacturing Principles to enhance plant reliability, product quality, and streamline processes.
Ideally, you will have either a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with experience in a manufacturing site. You will have excellent Leadership and People Management skills.
