Overview
Leading a team of Specialist Recruitment Consultants, the Recruitment Team Leader will work closely with the Recruitment Services Lead to identify roles across Navy, Army and Air Force with low levels of candidate engagement and placement. This role will focus on the design, planning and implementation of specific recruitment processes for challenging Technical, Trades and Professional roles.

Job Description
As the Recruitment Team Leader, you are responsible for leading and driving recruiting success of Professional Services Recruitment through a team of nationally dispersed, high performing, exceptional Specialist Recruitment Consultants.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach and mentor a team of Specialist Recruitment Consultants to design and deliver recruitment, assessment and selection processes for diverse roles across Navy, Army and Air Force.
Collaborate with the Recruitment Services Lead to forecast, plan and develop recruitment and assessment processes which attract and engage candidates to Technical, Trades and Professional roles.
Contribute to DFR\'s national recruitment strategy through the delivery of market leading, strategic recruitment solutions, constantly focused on meeting the recruiting needs of Services
Continuously review processes across the recruitment life cycle, identifying opportunities to streamline, adjust approach, improve criteria and application pathways, and the overall process to ensure DFR are maximising the candidate pipeline.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Specialist Recruitment Consultants to ensure delivery excellence and exceptional recruitment performance.
Develop team capability, ensuring a strong talent pipeline is maintained for key roles.
Coach and develop team to have a strong understanding of ADF roles, criteria and legislation to assist them to create the best possible outcome for candidates.
Review and analyse operational performance on a quarterly basis, providing comprehensive reporting and insights to Recruitment Services Lead, as required and requested.
Coach, develop and lead a candidate first, high performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement, growth, and delivery.
Work collaboratively with the Leadership Team to build a culture of ownership, accountability, and honesty.
Create a culture of honesty, openness, and collaboration. Champion a solution mindset to support ownership and engagement across all team members.
Successfully partner with Defence and subcontractors to ensure an integrated approach to target achievement.

Your background will demonstrate:
Proven experience and knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment process, specifically assessment centre process or similar high-volume, large-scale recruitment processes.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience of specialised recruitment teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and candidate experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with external stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage competing priorities and maintain quality service delivery when working under pressure.
A collaborative approach to building professional relationships and working within a team to contribute to the team vision.
Resilient and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
