Role Description
This is a full-time role (on-site in Geelong or remote) combining client intake, community development, and partner support.
As our Sales, Intake & Community Manager, you'll be the first voice families hear during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. You'll manage inbound inquiries, conduct intake assessments, match clients to the right services, and guide them through our support pathways, all with empathy and a solutions-focused approach.
Beyond intake, you'll play a key role in growing HCDC's digital community and resource centre. This includes coordinating expert interviews, developing digital content and resources, managing our online community channels, and supporting our network of partner professionals to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Role Split: ~60% Intake & Sales | ~20% Community Development | ~20% Partner Support
Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly with people in distress, warm, professional, and composed under pressure
Sales-driven mindset with experience in consultative or needs-based selling, you're comfortable guiding conversations toward action
Experience in lead generation, CRM management, and maintaining accurate client records with strict confidentiality
Strong digital literacy, comfortable coordinating content, managing online communities, and working across platforms (experience with Zoho, social media scheduling tools, or similar is a plus)
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple inquiries and priorities simultaneously
Background in family law, social work, client services, or related fields is a strong advantage
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience preferred
