Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide post-sales support in the IPTV and Digital Signage industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing email/telephone support to partners from 9am to 5pm AEST, Monday to Friday.
* Assisting the sales team and solutions consultants with pre-sales technical enquiries.
* Troubleshooting issues related to products, digital video, broadcast TV, IP networking, and integration with third-party products.
* Assisting partners and developers with product integration using published APIs.
* Writing knowledgebase articles for internal and external use.
* Occasionally traveling within ANZ for equipment installation and troubleshooting.
* Participating in out-of-hours work for global meetings and training, including an on-call roster.
You will be responsible for building customer relationships and working independently as well as part of a team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or a related field.
* Good general skills in computing and technology.
* Some knowledge of IP network-based products and digital audio/video technologies.
* Skills in software, shell scripting, and/or web development.
* General Linux knowledge with a desire to learn more.
* Excellent written/verbal communication and troubleshooting skills.
* The ability to build customer relationships and work independently as well as part of a team.
* An interest in IP video streaming and digital signage solutions.
