We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Program & Events Manager to join our team
What You Will Do:
As the Program & Events Manager, you will design, develop and deliver compelling, inclusive, and strategically aligned arts programs and initiatives across the Tanks Arts Centre and Gallery Precinct. Working closely with the Creative Life Branch Leadership Team and programming team, you will be at the forefront of curating experiences that celebrate local, national, and international talent, while supporting community engagement and commercial sustainability.
Your leadership will shape how the precinct is used, perceived, and loved by artists, audiences, and stakeholders alike.
What We Are Looking For:
* Tertiary qualifications in relevant field i.e. arts or events management.
* Minimum 5 years working within the performing art industry.
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of the roles of marketing, audience development and community engagement in successful delivery arts programming in a venue or festival context.
* Proven strategic, creative and analytical abilities with an understanding of the creative process and experience working with artists.
* Proven experience in entertainment contract negotiation.
* A very high level of knowledge and understanding of the arts & culture sector.
* Developed networks of producers, creatives, artists and professional promoters, locally and nationally.
* Proven experience in leadership and directing a team to deliver results.
