About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, organisational management, and governance. Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and implementing the Strategic Plan with the Board and Executive team.
* Operationalizing the strategic plan in conjunction with the Executive team.
* Ensuring community member priorities are met within the overall strategy and business plans.
* Fostering partnerships with local businesses and the broader community.
* Overseeing finances and assets management, ensuring legal compliance.
Skill and Experience Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Qualifications in Community Services, Management, or relevant experience.
* Knowledge of community services sector and Aboriginal organisations, with leadership experience.
* Experience in health and wellbeing challenges for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Proven ability to develop, secure, and manage funding and partnerships.
