Contract Administration Overview
We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules.
* Collaborate closely with the procurement team and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
* Assist with progress claims and external variations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Review, negotiate and finalise subcontracts, maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims, to maintain fiscal discipline and control.
* Administer RFIs to clients, architects and consultants, ensuring prompt responses and resolution.
* Oversee the project HSE system, guaranteeing a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Contract Administrator or Senior CA on defence projects, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience working on projects of at least $25M in value.
* Experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Commercial builder.
* Strong negotiating skills to implement contracts with sub-contractors and suppliers.
