About The Role
A leading software provider in the MSP space is seeking an energetic and consultative Account Manager to join a high-performing team. This role focuses on driving net revenue retention, managing renewals, and supporting partners across a portfolio of 170 accounts ranging from SMB to mid-market across NSW and New Zealand.
This is a farmer-style role where success is driven by proactive partner engagement, collaboration with internal sales and support teams, and identifying expansion opportunities within an existing account base.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of approximately 170 accounts across NSW and New Zealand
* Conduct regular business reviews and engagement cadences with top-tier partners
* Drive net revenue retention and reduce churn risk
* Manage renewal cycles and ensure high customer satisfaction
* Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing portfolio
* Collaborate closely with Sales and Partner teams to address customer needs
* Handle partner support issues, billing queries, and service escalations
* Promote education and enablement resources to drive partner success
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 3-5+ years in B2B account management or customer success
* Experience working with MSPs, IT resellers, or vendors preferred
* Previous SaaS experience, ideally in mission-critical business software
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Organised and detail-oriented with CRM proficiency
* Technically curious and capable of managing product-related queries
* Comfortable using platforms like Salesforce and Power BI
* Consultative and commercially minded approach
* Motivated, coachable, and thrives in a collaborative environment
Performance & KPIs
* Target: $900K USD annual revenue growth
* Average deal size: $6K-$7K recurring, up to $45K for larger opportunities
* Monthly target: 50+ client touchpoints and account reviews
* Sales tools include Salesforce, Power BI, and online learning portals
