Your Projects
You will work across a portfolio of prestigious boutique apartment projects that have recently been green lit for demolition and breaking ground in the next 6-7 months, reflecting a strong and secure forward pipeline.
These projects are design-led but construction-informed, with a clear emphasis on buildability, coordination and early design resolution to ensure smooth delivery on site. You will be joining an established, high-performing design team, expanding its capacity to support new work as it comes online.
Your Role
As Design Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the end-to-end design process, with a strong focus on translating design intent into buildable, well-coordinated construction outcomes.
Working closely with the existing design team, project managers and site teams, you will help ensure that new projects are set up correctly from the outset and supported through delivery.
This role suits someone who understands how design decisions impact programme, cost and site execution.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the full design lifecycle from early design through to construction support
* Drive design outcomes that balance architectural intent with buildability and construction efficiency
* Lead and coordinate external consultants to deliver compliant, coordinated documentation
* Identify and resolve design risks early to minimise site issues and rework
* Support site teams through RFIs, technical reviews and design clarifications
* Collaborate closely with commercial and construction teams to align design with delivery strategy
Your Experience
* Experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator within a builder environment
* Strong understanding of buildability in multi-residential or apartment construction
* Technically confident across structure, services and façade coordination
* Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong communication skills
* Aligned with a culture of honesty, integrity and professional accountability
