About your new employer
You will join a large NSW Government front line technology program that operates in a regulated, infrastructure style environment similar to energy or utilities. Experience working in structured delivery environments with complex stakeholders is important.
With a strong focus on innovation and digital transformation, they are investing heavily to support asset management, operations, and decision-making across a large and complex organisation.
They have an established Agile framework and is seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master to enforce, embed, and continuously improve Agile ways of working across delivery teams.
About your new role
This is a delivery-focused role. You will not act as a hybrid PM. Your focus is Scrum. Ceremonies. Flow. Team performance. Continuous improvement.
You will work with multiple delivery teams operating across the full SDLC in a complex, regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
* Act as Scrum Master for one or more delivery teams
* Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
* Enforce agreed Agile frameworks and standards across teams
* Coach teams on Agile principles, behaviours, and practices
* Remove delivery blockers and manage dependencies
* Drive iteration management and sprint outcomes
* Support teams to improve velocity, predictability, and quality
* Work closely with Product Owners, delivery leads, and technology stakeholders
* Promote continuous improvement and high-performing teams
About You
We're looking for someone with :
* Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master in technology delivery environments
* Strong focus on Scrum ceremonies and Agile discipline
* Experience working across the full SDLC
* Background working with multiple delivery teams
* Confidence operating in structured, regulated environments
* Strong communication skills with technical and non technical stakeholders
* Comfortable challenging teams and reinforcing Agile standards
Nice to have
* Experience in NSW Government or large public sector programs
* Exposure to infrastructure, utilities, or energy style organisations
* Experience working alongside DevOps and CI CD practices
