Excavator Operators
to join the earthworks and civil construction team on a
major renewable energy infrastructure project
in
Merotherie, NSW

Pay Rate:
$44.00 p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location:
Merotherie, NSW
Hours:
6:30am start, 10–12 hour shifts
Start Date:
ASAP
This is a long-term opportunity working on a Tier 1 solar project, performing detailed and bulk excavation, trenching, and site preparation to support large-scale renewable energy development.
What You Will Be Doing
* Operating 14t to 22t excavators for bulk and detailed earthworks
* Performing trenching, backfilling, topsoil respread, and loading trucks
* Conducting material handling and excavation for solar infrastructure
* Working safely around other plant, spotters, and civil crews
* Completing daily pre-starts and machine checks
* Supporting civil works and assisting the site team as required
What You Need:
* RII Excavator Licence (RIIMPO320F – Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations) – Essential
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Current Driver Licence and reliable transport
* Minimum 2 years' experience operating 14t+ diggers on civil or infrastructure projects
* Proven safety record and ability to work in a team environment
* Additional plant tickets (Roller, Loader, Telehandler) advantageous
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
