24 month fixed term contract with the option to convert to permanent Work on a nation-wide telecommunications program Must be Australian Citizen - NV1 would be beneficial Our client is currently on the lookout for an experience Telecommunication Lead Designer/Architect to design and lead the development of robust, scalable, and secure network solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the communications infrastructure-spanning voice, data, mobile, and cloud-while driving innovation, performance, and strategic alignment with business goals. This role requires Australian Citizenship. Responsibilities: Design and architect end-to-end telecommunications solutions across voice, data, mobile, and IP networks Complete IP network design including IP spreadsheets with the network design, network diagrams, device configuration for the system and actual configuration of the switches and firewalls, as well as assisting the VMWare lead on the networking configurations within VMware Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to ensure seamless implementation and performance Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments to enhance connectivity and service delivery Define and implement best practices for network and capacity management Provide technical leadership and guidance across network transformation programs Requirements: Tertiary Education in IT, Telecommunications or Engineering (Mandatory) Proven experience in telecommunications architecture, network engineering, or infrastructure strategy Deep understanding of telecom technologies including MPLS, SIP, LTE/5G, SDN, and unified communications Experience with enterprise-grade platforms and integration tools Strong knowledge of network security, identity management, and performance optimisation Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, TOGAF, AWS Networking, etc.) are highly desirable Experience in large-scale network transformation or telecom modernization projects Benefits: Work on one of the largest telecommunication transformation programs in Australia Competitive package on offer Interview and start ASAP If you would like to know more information please contact Sean Mantri on 0420 425 /talentinternational.com or hit Apply Now!
