You’ll collaborate across academic and professional communities to help shape a more connected and capable University, supporting teaching excellence, research impact, and student success. The opportunity ICT Business Partner, you will help strengthen the connection between ICT and business areas across the University, supporting stakeholders to navigate services, identify needs and improve the way technology supports their objectives. This is a relationship-led role that combines client engagement, service support, delivery coordination and demand management. You will work closely with stakeholders and ICT teams to help translate needs, resolve issues and contribute to high-quality service outcomes. What you’ll do Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and provide day-to-day support on ICT services, solutions and initiatives Gather feedback, identify patterns and help translate business needs into clear requirements or next steps Support projects, services and portfolio activities by tracking progress, reporting on key metrics and escalating issues where needed Contribute to planning, demand triage and service improvement activity across a busy and evolving environment Help communicate ICT initiatives and changes in a clear, practical way to diverse stakeholder groups What we’re looking for Proven experience in a strategic business partnering, relationship management, or similar role within a university or complex higher education environment Strong understanding of how to align technology priorities with business needs across diverse stakeholder groups in a large, matrixed organisation Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence with senior leaders, balancing strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery Experience navigating complex governance, operating models, and competing priorities within a large, multifaceted institution Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technology opportunities and outcomes What’s in it for you?
