Advanced Practice Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team as an Advanced Practice Nurse. The Maternal and Child Health Service delivers high-quality primary community care services for children and their families.
The Clinical Nurse works closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients with complex needs. They must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
To succeed in this role, you will require advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to plan and coordinate care effectively. A postgraduate qualification in Child and Family Health is essential, along with current clinical practice experience in Child and Family Health.
You will also need to hold registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a current practicing certificate. Other desirable qualifications include completion of an immunisation course approved by Queensland Health and the ability to complete Central Queensland credentialing application for immunisation.
