About the Role A fantastic opportunity exists within the Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) for a proactive and highly organised Finance Officer to join our team. The role is primarily responsible for processing invoices related to IMTD contractual arrangements, ensuring accurate and timely payments in line with departmental policies for the Business Services Branch (BSB), which plays a vital role in supporting IMTD. The role includes oversight of the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring appropriate governance of purchase orders and invoice management for the IMTD. The Finance Officer also collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support routine financial tasks such as reconciliations, reporting, and responding to internal and external queries relating to payments and procurement processes. Attributes It's an excellent opportunity for someone who has a keen eye for detail, good with numbers and reporting, resolving issues, an understanding of basic financial and accounting principles and practices, great organisational and time management skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to educate and support internal stakeholders on best PO/invoicing practices.
