Our Darwin based client requires a Senior Business Analyst to work within the ICT projects space. This will be an initial 6 month contract, with strong extension options.
You must be willing to relocate to Darwin and remain there for the duration of the contract. No remote working options are available for this opportunity.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives within our client. Based in Darwin, this contract position requires a senior Business Analyst who can analyse complex business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, process maps, and user stories.
* Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
* Support the implementation of solutions by coordinating with technical teams and ensuring user acceptance testing.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
* Identify risks and issues, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Qualifications
* Strong, demonstratable experience in business analysis, preferably within the utilities, government or health sectors.
* Proven track record of successfully managing projects and delivering results.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
