Fetch Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Factory Cabinet Makers with a strong background in commercial joinery to join a busy and well-established workshop based in Melbourne's South East. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for ongoing work with the potential to go full-time for the right candidate.
About the Role
Working in a fast-paced factory environment, you will be involved in the production of high-quality commercial joinery and cabinetry, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Assembly of commercial cabinetry and joinery
* Working from detailed plans and shop drawings
* Operating machinery including panel saws, edge banders, and CNC (desirable)
* Cutting, edging, and preparing materials
* General factory duties and maintaining a clean work space
* Working both independently and as part of a team
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker (factory-based)
* Strong background in commercial joinery
* Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
* Experience using hand and power tools
* Experience with factory machinery (panel saw, edge bander, CNC highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
