Leading Renewable Energy Project Supervisor Role
About the Role:
Vestas has a fantastic opportunity and is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our PPS Commissioning and HV operations team. The role involves managing High Voltage (HV) works at our wind farm in Western Australia on a rotating roster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HV works, producing switching programs, executing HV switching, isolation, earthing, and identifying points of work. They will also issue safety documentation duties on HV networks in accordance with Vestas' HV Safety Rules.
This role requires strong leadership skills to facilitate a safe working environment during high-voltage work. Additionally, the candidate should participate in Safety in Design Reviews, witness inspections and tests of electrical components and infrastructure, and report on progress of inspections/tests and QA/QC submissions.
The ideal candidate will have experience with substation construction, MV/HV cable reticulation and transmission construction, management of subcontractors in a site-based construction environment, and experience in construction of wind farms. Strong negotiation skills are also essential to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Unrestricted Electrical License
* Experience with substation construction, MV/HV cable reticulation and transmission construction
* Management of subcontractors in a site-based construction environment
* Experience in construction of wind farms
* Strong negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
