We have a rare opportunity for a Casual Vehicle Detailer to join our team based at our Hertz Gympie location.
This role may include weekend work, so availability across these shifts is required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Detailing and cleaning vehicles to the Hertz 'ready-to-rent' standard
* Delivering a high standard of customer service by ensuring vehicles are clean, safe and ready for hire
* Performing basic safety and road-worthiness checks
* Identifying and reporting vehicle damage in line with procedures
* Driving vehicles safely and in accordance with company policies
* Transporting vehicles between locations or to suppliers as required
* Working efficiently within a fun, supportive team environment
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard‑free work area
You will be primarily based at our Gympie location, with the potential to work at other nearby locations within reasonable travel distance, supporting day‑to‑day operations and the delivery of a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills and a 'make it happen' attitude
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Ability to multi‑task and be highly organised
* Be reliable and have strong attention to detail
* The ability to drive vehicles safely and responsibly
* Have and maintain a current AU driver's license
