Associate Director Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to join our team in the Policy and Budget Group. As an Associate Director, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on fiscal strategy, budget planning, and government policy matters.
The successful candidate will lead teams to deliver financial insights and recommendations to Treasury leadership and key stakeholders. You will also manage the preparation and coordination of State Budget papers and related reports, as well as foster collaboration within Treasury and across government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
 * Deliver high-quality financial insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
 * Manage complex projects, including the preparation and coordination of State Budget papers and related reports.
 * Build strong relationships with stakeholders, both within and outside of Treasury, to drive collaboration and achieve shared goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
 * Forecasting and analysis: Proven experience in financial and economic forecasting is highly valued.
 * High-pressure environments: Demonstrated success in dynamic and innovative settings.
 * Stakeholder management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing multiple stakeholders.
 * Technical communication: Ability to convey complex information clearly in various formats.
 * Project management: Experience in project management and collaborative teamwork.
 * Public sector knowledge: Strong understanding of public sector financial management, economics, or government policy, with an awareness of NSW Government's Prime system being desirable.
 * Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, economics, public policy, or a related discipline.
