**About the team**:
The Leveraged Finance & Core Plus Infrastructure team structures and arranges:
- Leveraged transactions associated with LBO’s and corporate M&A; transactions for both Private Equity and Corporate clients.
- Core plus infrastructure transactions which includes debt financings across digital infrastructure (towers, fibre, data centres, digital concessions) and other alternative/value add infrastructure. Transactions are mostly M&A; driven.
The team mostly works with Private Equity and Infrastructure Fund managers with strong growth expected as this client set continues to raise and invest capital and undertake M&A.;
**About the Role**:
The role of Associate Director involves the origination, structuring and execution of new transactions, assisting with the management of a portfolio of existing assets as well as working collaboratively with other areas of the bank to enhance cross sell and to maximise shareholder value.
**What you'll be doing & your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to**:
- Origination, structuring and leading the execution of new transactions for Private Equity, Infrastructure Funds and Corporate clients.
- Liaise with other areas of Corporate & Institutional Banking in order to take advantage of cross sell opportunities.
- Lead discussions with external parties (syndicate banks, customers, external advisers) to help clients and maximise the Bank's position.
- To actively promote and market the business internally and externally.
- As required, assist our portfolio area to manage a portfolio of loans in order to ensure the preparation, risk management & administration of credit and legal related issues in respect of those assets. This may also involve input and overview of annual credit reviews in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work with internal stakeholders such as client coverage, markets and private capital syndicate.
