Overview
Workfast is seeking experienced General labourers / Production Workers with a forklift licence to work in a busy hot-dip galvanising plant in Campbellfield, VIC.
Shift hours
* Shift 1 4:00 am - 10:00 am
* Shift 2 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
* Shift 3 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

About the Role
* Need to be able to work overtime and weekends
* Operating a forklift when needed
* Helping out with different work areas
* Loading and unloading steel products onto an overhead hoist or conveyor
* Preparing and wiring steel products prior to galvanising
* Assisting with dipping, draining, and cooling processes
* Finishing coated steel using hand tools, grinders, or polishers
* Operating or assisting with gantry cranes (training provided)
* Quality checking and packaging finished products
* Maintaining a clean, secure, and efficient work area
About You
* To succeed in this position, you should have:
* Previous experience in a galvanising, metal coating, or factory production workplace (highly regarded)
* A forklift licence is highly regarded
* Ability to lift steel items up to 20 kg
* Good understanding of safe work practices in manufacturing
* Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
* Full working rights in Australia (no restrictions)
