Job Role Overview
A senior production technician is required to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that demands technical excellence and attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality technical support across lighting, sound, AV, and staging as required.
* Maintain and operate BREC's technical equipment and infrastructure to the highest standard.
* Provide guidance, instruction, and on-the-job support to Production Technicians and casual crew members.
* Ensure accurate documentation of lighting systems and show files.
Key Requirements
* Demonstrated proficiency in Lighting for live production with hands-on experience in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining relevant systems and equipment.
* Ability to interpret technical documents and manuals.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
The successful candidate must be able to safely lift and move equipment up to 30kg and work extended hours during peak event periods within Award limits.
