About the Job
We are seeking a motivated Trading Assistant & Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis at our Production Facility in Bridgewater, Victoria.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Arranging daily transport/logistic planning and scheduling with growers, transporters, and customers
- Receiving, dispatching and reconciling customer and supplier orders
- Ensuring invoicing and payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner
- Preparation and distribution of contracts for suppliers and customers
- Planning and executing logistics so that all contracts are adhered to
- Developing and implementing systems to provide timely data and information to suppliers and customers
- Managing the distribution, collection and filing of compliance-related documents (contracts, vendor declarations, feed, test, etc.)
- Adopting a flexible approach with customers to accommodate any changes in customer grain demand within reason via regular communication
- Assisting the Trading Manager with day-to-day management and implementation of purchasing and sales strategies
- Ability to travel for the role as necessary
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a logistics role or similar role
- Knowledge of grain and/or hay production systems (preferred but not essential)
- Current drivers licence required
- Understanding rural Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland would be advantageous
