Key Role Summary
The Specialist Risk role is a critical position that plays a pivotal part in integrating risk management principles into operational decision-making and driving the health of divisional risk governance.
This key role requires engagement with leaders to embed risk management principles into operational decision-making and core business processes. The Specialist Risk professional will maintain and update risk registers, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and identify and manage risks and opportunities to support business objectives and performance.
The successful candidate will participate in annual and strategic planning for the site, including risk-based input into business planning cycles, and provide guidance and support on risk governance requirements. They will facilitate risk reviews, workshops, and assurance activities, and prepare and present risk-related information for leadership decision-making.
In addition, the Specialist Risk professional will ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks, including ISO 31000, and drive alignment between Cape Lambert and Dampier ports in how they manage risk, leveraging synergies where possible.

* Working knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management Principles and Guidelines is necessary.
