The Opportunity
15-month maternity leave contract opportunity available in Perth, WA for a Clinical Specialist. Commencing in early April 2026, you are primarily responsible for providing technical support in an operating theatre environment to our hospital-based customers for our Trauma & Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) product portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
* Attending surgical procedures and providing expert technical support to Orthopaedic and CMF Surgeons and Nursing staff in the correct and safe use of products
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing in-service training to Registrars, Nursing staff and Healthcare Practitioners
* Optimising opportunities by passing on leads to the Sales Team and providing product demo as required
* Maintaining strong product knowledge through ongoing training and driving clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience
About You
* Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Chiropractic etc.) and experience providing clinical support in-theatre during orthopaedic or CMF surgeries highly regarded
* Confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment and ability to work after-hours and weekend on-call on a rotating roster
* Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
* Autonomous and able to work as part of a team, is organised with good time management skills

This position requires regular travel to hospitals in Perth Metro. All applicants must have rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid Driver Licence.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
