Reporting to the Software Developer Team Lead, you will work with senior internal business stakeholders to build a shared understanding of expected outcomes, whilst managing competing priorities
You will be someone that enjoys working in a rapidly evolving and forward-thinking environment and will exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and the application of practices and procedures; in providing detailed technical, professional, and/or policy advice in relation to complex problems. You will be proficient in front end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript), programming languages (C#, PowerShell), databases (SQL, TSQL), reporting (SSRS, PowerBI), APIs, web services, mobile development and Microsoft Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, GitHub Advanced Security and more).
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Design and develop effective software solutions utilising best practice methods to meet business needs and provide recommendation for continued improvements
2. Contribute to System development including Smartphone applications
3. Perform analysis, maintenance, and remediation of existing systems, including providing support with technical or complex business requirements while contributing to automation
4. Contribute to the integration of software across multiple platforms and environments
5. Build effective relationships and negotiate outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
6. Supporting the ongoing improvements to development practices and security in line with the Information Security Manual (ISM).
