Roles available: Vehicle technicians x 2
2 weeks contract with possible long-term extension pending Defence approval.
Location: Robertson Barracks, Palmerston, NT
Role details:
Assembly, test, fault finding and installation of critical C4i systems for military use
Support engineering services and technical reporting
Technical documentation development and manage user manuals
Repair, dissemble and reassemble of vehicles sub-systems in according with technical drawings and specifications
Utilise test equipment and practice safe working
Support training and instruction of military personnel
Quality assurance, technical reporting and manage continuous improvement
Maintenance setup and project planning
What we require:
Tertiary qualifications in either electronics, communications, networking or similar.
Ability to work in a pressured environment and adhere to MIL-STDs
Reinstatable or active defence clearance Baseline or above level; Australian Citizenship essential
Collaborative attitude and willing to travel for work as needed to site locations
Fit and able to complete medical assessments and lift minimum 10 - 20 Kilos on a semi-regular basis where needed.
MUST have a current or reinstatable Baseline or above level secuirty clearance.
