We are currently seeking an experienced IB Biology teacher to join us in the 2026 academic year. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching science at the senior school level and will seek out innovative strategies to ignite curiosity within their classroom.
This is a full-time fixed-term position for one year, commencing in Term 1, For the ideal candidate, this position could be permanent from the outset)

* Teach IB Biology and general science, while fostering a classroom environment rooted in curiosity, critical thinking and scientific inquiry

* Commit to knowing students well, ensuring that learning is personalised so students can take their own next step in their learning progress

* Skilfully integrate learning technology into practice, selecting the most appropriate tools to enhance the learning experience
What do I need to succeed?
* Teaching qualification
* Demonstrated excellence in teaching in general science and IB Biology
* Strong understanding of the IB programme
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for creativity and innovation in teaching
* A valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
