Overview

The Team: The Launceston General Hospital is Tasmania's second largest hospital with a busy elective and emergency service. The LGH works closely with the University of Tasmania and is a major clinical teaching and research centre. The Role

The successful applicant will provide direction and leadership to HALT and TCP services ensuring the standards of patient care are in accordance with relevant legislation, clinical standards and evidence based practice.


You will need

* Demonstrated extensive clinical knowledge and experience relevant to HALT and TCP.
* Demonstrated strong leadership, decision making skills and business acumen.
* Personal qualities will include resilience, initiative and the ability to build productive networks.

Details of appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join the team.

* Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.


Salary

$122,365 to $129,060 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.
* In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.


Salary Packaging

You'll have access to salary packaging a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

* Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

* Relevant post graduate qualifications
* Current Drivers Licence
