Project Manager - Hazardous Materials and Occupational Hygiene
About the Role:
* This is a specialist position within our organization, focused on managing projects related to hazardous materials and occupational hygiene.
* You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, mentored by industry experts.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Undertake site inspections for hazardous materials and occupational hygiene
2. Engage with clients and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
3. Prepare comprehensive technical reports
4. Manage projects from initiation to completion
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrated technical expertise in managing hazmat/asbestos/occupational hygiene projects
* Strong technical writing skills, with experience in report preparation
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly when interacting with clients
* A team player with a passion for sharing knowledge and expertise
* Ability to travel to regional and rural sites as required
* Current work rights in Australia
Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) accreditation or provisional membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene is an advantage in this role.
