About the role
We are seeking an experienced Shed Builder Leading Hand to join our team at LRG Steel Erektions' on the Central Coast, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading a team of shed installers to deliver high-quality steel-framed sheds and structures to our customers. Your strong leadership skills and comprehensive knowledge of shed building will be essential in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
* Supervise and coordinate a team of shed builders to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and communicate progress updates
* Oversee the safe installation of steel frames, cladding, roofing and other components
* Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations
* Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team as needed
* Maintain detailed records and documentation for each project
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience as a shed builder, with a proven track record of leading teams
* Minimum 2-3 years of shed building experience required
* Minimum 1-2 years of team leadership experience required
* In-depth knowledge of steel-framed shed construction, including installation of frames, cladding, roofing and other components
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications and drawings
* Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
* Australian citizenship required
* Full car driving licence required
* Metal Roofers and Carpenters encouraged to apply
