Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this is a broad and varied role that spans both operational accounting and strategic management reporting. You will play a key part in supporting business decisions across all our operating divisions.
Key Responsibilities Operational Accounting
* Payroll and wages processing
* Stock and inventory control
* Oversight of invoicing and accounts receivable
* Coordination of overseas import documentation and payments
* Journal entries and general ledger maintenance
* BAS, PAYG and superannuation compliance
Management Accounting
* Preparation of monthly management reports and P&L analysis
* Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Cost analysis across business units
* Cash flow monitoring and reporting to the Board
* KPI tracking and financial performance reporting
* Support strategic decision-making with financial insights
* Preparation of annual financial statements
* Coordination and support of financial audits
What We're Looking For Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* CPA or CA qualification (partial or completed) preferred
* Minimum 4 years' relevant accounting experience
* Experience in a manufacturing, trading or import/export environment is highly regarded
* Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, Visionet or QuickBooks
