Design & Engineering

CPP has the largest in‐house design and engineering team in Australia, with over 170 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural and SCADA disciplines. We provide end‐to‐end engineering solutions for high‐voltage infrastructure, including nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australia's renewable energy transition.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated Trainee Electrical Drafter to join our Primary Engineering Team based in Adelaide. If you have experience in electrical drafting from another industry or have recently completed drafting studies, this is your opportunity to grow in a supportive and technically challenging environment. Working alongside our experienced Design Drafters and Engineers, you'll contribute to the creation of detailed designs and drawings for substation infrastructure supporting high‐voltage systems across utility and renewable energy projects.

Desired Skills and Experience

* Electrical Engineering (Design Drafting) Diploma; Technical Certificate; and/or relevant experience.
* Previous experience working as an electrical drafter is essential.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation desirable.
* Experience working on utility and/or renewable energy projects is favourable but not essential.
