The role
OFI are seeking a full-time Industrial Electrician for both local and remote work.

To be successful in this role you must:
- Have proven Industrial Electrical Experience
- Have a minimum two-year post trade qualification and experience
- Have experience with testing, maintenance and breakdowns
- Be solution orientated and proactive with great problem-solving skills
- Be able to apply logical thinking and have diagnostic ability
- Have an aptitude for mechanics and electronics/electrical systems
- Willing to undergo pre-employment medical
- Have sound communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a demonstrated commitment to safety with a well-developed understanding of safety KPI's
Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Perform PVC and steel conduit work, gluing and pipe bending
- Carry out aluminium, galvanized, and stainless steel cable tray and ladder work
- Lay, connect and terminate all types and sizes of electrical cables
- Manufacture and carry out electrical installation power and control panels including internal wiring and general equipment arrangement
- Work to client specifications and scope of works
- Read, follow and understand electrical drawings
- Comply with AS 3000 standard, Australian wiring rules and local regulations/requirements
- Test for, locate and safely repair electrical malfunctions
- Install electrical equipment
- Assemble electrical and electronic components and appliances
- Connect electrical equipment
- Perform administrative activities associated with trade work for example, but not limited to:
- Requisition parts & materials
- Record labour time and update installation quantity sheets daily
- Refer to vendor manuals, data sheets and drawings
- Liaise with other groups
- Supervise and instruct electrical apprentices and new starters as required
Qualifications:
- Unrestricted Australian 'A' Grade Electrical Licence
- Construction Safety Awareness Training Card
- Hold a current WA "C" Class Drivers Licence
Preferred but not essential:
- Fire Safety Training
- Confined Space Entry Training
- Working at heights (RIIWHS204D)
- Hazardous Areas Training
