**The Opportunity**:
The primary role of the National Personal Training Manager is to oversee all operations, projects and performance of the Fitness Department in Zap Fitness 24/7. This includes oversight of independent contractors, customer care, industry compliance requirements, departmental budgets and financial performance.
In addition, the National Personal Training Manager will be responsible for talent acquisition and selection to introduce and work to retain all Rental Independent Contractors (rental trainers) to the business alongside the Regional Personal Trainers Managers responsible for the creation and implementation of various fitness-based programs to drive membership yield and improve both member and trainer retention.
This role can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide or Tasmania.
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve budgeted department revenues including but not limited to trainer rental trainer revenues and associated revenues from the personal training department as well as support RTO-related budgets;
- Assist the Finance team with the management of debit suspensions and overdue rental/license fees in line with contract obligations and company expectations (when required);
- Drive the recruitment of all Independent Rental Contractors (Personal Trainers);
- Facilitate trainer growth through pro-active recruitment practices and the development of strong relationships with current PT's;
- Ensure 100% compliance of all trainer qualifications, insurance and related documentation via efficient management of Zap document management and auditing systems;
- Develop strategies and actions for assessing the state of trainer's businesses and future financial viability in the Zap brand with a goal to having monthly reporting on preventable trainer loss in the business
**About You**:
A self-motivated team player, you are proactive and outgoing. You will also present with:
- A minimum of 5 years industry related experience working/managing health and fitness related programs
- Registered and insured with Fitness Australia
- Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness is preferred
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
