**About The Role**
Role Location: Docklands, VIC 3008
Role Type: Casual - Full time ongoing - Hybrid
Shift schedule: 10:30AM - 7PM, Monday - Friday
Your primary role will be to assist vulnerable customers and make a difference. This includes assessing and actioning hardship requests received for consumer credit cards, personal loans and consumer deposits (including advance notice term deposits). Duties include receiving inbound calls from internal and external customers, and initiating outbound calls to customers or their representatives. The main purpose is to assist customers during periods of financial hardship and set in place arrangements to suit their needs in line with our Hardship Policy & Guidelines.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Previous experience in Collections is highly preferred
- Awareness of relevant credit legislation (UCCC, Trade Practices Act, Privacy Act)
- Strong customer focus, and a proven ability to provide quality customer service
- Demonstrated negotiation & objection management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to respond positively to pressure, strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision in a team environment and strong analytical and problem solving skills
