Lekker Lekker is an Amsterdam-style street food business that's been operating across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria for over 13 years. We work major markets, festivals and events — and we do it properly.
We're looking for experienced, reliable legends who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want consistent work as part of a skilled, tight-knit team who love Dutch culture and cuisine.
This isn't a quiet kitchen job - our events are busy, loud, and high-energy. We need people who can handle the heat, work with speed and confidence, and take real pride in delivering great food and great service every time.
The Role
* Operate multiple deep fryers during high-volume service
* Prepare and cook food quickly and consistently
* Take orders and process payments when required
* Maintain a clean, secure and organised workspace
* Work efficiently within a small, fast-paced team
* Assist with event setup, pack-down and operations
What We're Looking For
* Previous kitchen or quick-food experience (highly regarded)
* Confident managing multiple deep fryers (highly regarded)
* Calm, efficient and reliable under pressure
* Positive, team-focused attitude with solid customer service skills
* Availability for regular weekend and evening shifts
* Willingness to travel to events across metropolitan and outer Melbourne
* Understanding of Dutch culture and cuisine
* Manual driver's licence and confidence driving or towing a food truck (highly regarded)
