Classroom and Learning Support/Teacher Assistant - Trade Position
This part-time temporary position is available at our institution, providing the opportunity to progress towards a teaching career pathway.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid NSW Working with Children Check and comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment. They should also demonstrate a strong commitment to our school's ethos and mission.
We are seeking an individual who can assist students in all aspects of the curriculum, implement programs, document student adjustments, and support students in our College Workplace Learning Program.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with teaching staff in a classroom environment, working with children with special needs, including those on the autistic spectrum, and being aware of student allergies and training in EpiPen use.
Additional requirements include:
* A relevant qualification or experience in a trade industry such as Automotive, Construction, or Furniture Making.
* Experience in implementing programs and documenting student adjustments.
