About the Role

This position oversees the management of theatre operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the establishment and launch of the venue, coordinating project planning, budget tracking, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

2. Develop operational workflows, service standards, staffing structures, and resource plans in preparation for venue opening.
">
3. Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met prior to launch.
">
4. Oversee daily operations of all theatre functions, including box office, programming, and customer service.
">
5. Coordinate and monitor service delivery across multiple business units and liaise with building management, service quality, efficiency, and business performance metrics.
">
6. Implement business continuity plans and emergency procedures in alignment with organisational policies.
">
7. Manage revenue and financial operations, including contracting, invoicing, and insurance coverage.
">
8. Establish and monitor food, beverage, and bar operations, ensuring high standards of presentation and functionality.
">
9. Liaise with internal teams to manage programme scheduling, technical requirements, and logistics.
">
10. Lead negotiations and relationship management with external hirers, touring producers, and community clients.
">
11. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, presentation, and functionality throughout the venue at all times.

12. Ensure signage, amenities, and wayfinding are accessible and aligned with brand standards.

13. Oversee front-of-house operations and ushering services to ensure high standards are maintained.

14. Monitor customer relations and feedback, responding to escalated complaints and initiating service improvements.
