Job Description

Maintenance Planner Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to carry out the maintenance planning and scheduling function for our facility. The role involves developing short and long-term maintenance plans, partnering with stakeholders, and ensuring optimal availability and utilisation of plant infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

* Undertaking planning and scheduling for Maintenance, Engineering and Production work centres.
* Developing, implementing, and maintaining maintenance strategies for fixed plant infrastructure.
* Developing, implementing, and assisting in the execution of major plant and annual shutdown plans.
* Providing planning support during major plant outage periods.
* Ensuring work area and operations align with safety standards.

Key aspects of the job include:

* Coordinating maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to production.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
* Managing and controlling maintenance schedules, resources, and budgets.
* Providing technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.
* Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans to prevent equipment failures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications in a maintenance-related field.
* Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
