Overview
This ASETO role is primarily focused on supporting Aboriginal students within the secondary years, with an emphasis on coordinating and delivering targeted programs to enhance learning outcomes. It includes facilitating initiatives supporting student engagement in VET, providing guidance on post‐school pathways to further education or employment, and coordinating a girls group with a strong focus on promoting students' wellbeing, resilience, and personal development.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver targeted programs to enhance learning outcomes for Aboriginal students.
* Facilitate initiatives that support student engagement in VET.
* Provide guidance on post‐school pathways to further education or employment.
* Coordinate the girls group, supporting students' wellbeing, resilience and personal development.
* Collaborate closely with school staff, families and community partners to ensure culturally responsive practices and positive outcomes for Aboriginal students.
* Build a supportive network for Aboriginal girls, providing opportunities for cultural connection, leadership and ongoing support as students navigate schooling and future aspirations.
