The operation plays a critical role in supporting the construction industry's growth in the region.
About The Role
We are currently seeking two experienced and proactive Quarry Managers to lead operations at our established sites in Orange and Dubbo, NSW. These are key leadership roles responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and compliant day-to-day running of each quarry. Reporting to senior management, you will drive production targets, manage teams, and ensure adherence to all relevant WHS and environmental regulations. With a strong focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development, these positions offer the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the success and sustainability of our regional quarrying operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage quarry operations, ensuring safety and efficiency
* Supervise and develop a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Oversee material extraction, processing, and quality control to meet market demands
* Manage budgets, control costs, and drive operational performance
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
* Liaise with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, contractors, and internal teams
Skills And Experience Required
* Experience in quarry or mining operations in a supervisory or management role
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of OHS legislation and compliance requirements
* Ability to manage budgets and optimize production costs
* Certificate IV in Surface Extractions and working towards a Tier 2 practicing certificate or willing to obtain one.
