**About the role**
Activ Pathways is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) established by Activ in 2008 to deliver a variety of qualifications and general work skills training in industry specific areas.
Due to an increased demand for training in Perth Metro and regional areas, we are looking to engage a** Clinical Trainer & Assessor** to deliver key training in;
- Medication, diabetes, dysphagia, bowel care, peg feeding, dementia, epilepsy, midazolam and urinary catheter management.
Working 4/5 Days per week this position will be appointed on a casual basis and require the flexibility to travel to our regional sites and customers throughout WA.
**A typical day in the role may look like **
- Delivering accredited and non-accredited programs through face-to-face training both on and off the job;
- Coordinating, delivering, monitoring and reporting on participant progress, supporting learners with a varying range of abilities;
- Ability to engage students whilst delivering face to face training with attention to quality service.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role within a large organisation
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification
- Have the Flexibility to travel - essential
- Current Nurse Registration with AHPRA, EN or RN
- Extensive experience in the development and delivery of clinical training initiatives
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) requirements
- Understanding of community and social issues related to disability service provision
- National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
